The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing cyber security audit activities, identifying vulnerabilities, managing security governance, and supporting the Bank’s cyber security strategy and audit functions.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing cyber security leadership and governance aligned with regulatory and financial industry requirements
• Conducting cyber security audits and follow-up audit activities
• Reviewing and reporting on cyber security operations with IT and infrastructure teams
• Supporting cyber security drills and threat/vulnerability management activities
• Ensuring compliance with organizational security frameworks and audit expectations
• Supporting implementation of cyber security engagement models across infrastructure and networks
• Reporting cyber security audit matters to the Board Audit Committee
• Assisting management with cyber security strategies and operational improvements
• Maintaining accountability, segregation of duties, and third-line defense controls

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Information Security
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology specializing in Information Security
• (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP)
• ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Added Advantage:

• Network management-related qualifications such as CCNA

Experience Required:

• Minimum 05 years of experience in:
  • IT Security
  • Network Security
  • Network Security Auditing
  • Auditing operating systems and databases
• Banking industry experience is preferred
• Experience in security administration and operations is an added advantage
