Polycrome is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Stores for its Mathugama Industrial Zone operations. The company is a leading ISO-certified manufacturer of electrical products, lighting, and cable management systems with over 45 years of industry experience.

Assistant Manager – Stores

📍 Location: Mathugama Industrial Zone

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Managing raw material and finished goods inventory operations
• Supervising warehouse activities including inventory, space management, and goods issuing
• Ensuring availability of stock materials and minimizing shortages
• Scheduling and supervising warehouse staff for maximum efficiency
• Coordinating with sales and logistics teams for timely delivery of finished goods
• Maintaining stock accuracy at all times
• Updating and managing stock records using SAP ERP systems
• Preparing management reports related to store operations and inventory

Required Qualifications & Skills

Applicants should possess:

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems
• Knowledge of electrical products will be a distinct advantage

Additional Requirements

• Male candidates are preferred
• Age should be between 30 – 40 years
