Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka is calling applications from qualified candidates for the post of Executive – Supervision.

Position Details

Executive – Supervision

• Organization: Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (IRCSL)

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Evaluating insurers’ financial condition and overall risk profile
• Analyzing financial statements, solvency position, profitability, liquidity, and regulatory compliance
• Reviewing insurers’ audited financial statements, regulatory returns, and management reports
• Assessing financial soundness and identifying emerging risks
• Reviewing prudential and supervisory standards
• Participating in onsite inspections related to:
  • Financial reporting practices
  • Asset quality
  • Capital adequacy
  • Corporate governance processes

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Accountancy
  • Finance
  • Commerce
  • Management
  • Business Administration
  • Insurance
  • Mathematics
  • Or a related discipline

recognized by the University Grants Commission

OR

• A professional qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field

Experience Requirements

• Minimum two (02) years post-qualifying relevant experience at junior executive/executive level in a reputed organization

Preferred Skills

Ideal candidates should have:

• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
• Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance
• Ability to interpret financial statements and insurance data
• Good communication and report writing abilities
• Computer literacy and proficiency in financial analysis

Age Limit

• Applicants should be below 40 years at the closing date of applications.
