Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum G.C.E. O/L or A/L qualification
- Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business will be an added advantage
- Previous experience in field sales, FMCG, banking, or fintech industries is preferred
- Experience in merchant acquisition and POS/mPOS sales will be beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve sales targets
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories
Key Responsibilities
- Expand the merchant network across assigned territories
- Prospect and acquire new business opportunities
- Promote POS and digital payment solutions to merchants
- Build and maintain long-term merchant relationships
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets consistently
- Provide hands-on technical support to merchants
- Conduct regular merchant visits and field inspections
- Manage rental collections and merchant account health
- Report daily sales performance and pipeline updates
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant support
Required Skills
- Field sales and merchant acquisition expertise
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of POS and mPOS systems
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets
- Customer relationship management skills
- Problem-solving and technical support capabilities
- Fluent communication in Sinhala, Tamil, and/or English
- Motorcycle ownership and mobility for field operations
