Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Prior experience in a power plant or heavy industrial environment will be preferred
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Willingness to work on a shift basis
• Candidates should be willing to reside in Batticaloa

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the power plant to ensure maximum uptime
• Monitor plant performance and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner
• Support the Senior Engineering team in scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate technical logs and operational documentation
• Ensure all operational activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Coordinate with technical teams to support plant efficiency and reliability
