Job Description

The selected candidate will work closely with development and product engineering teams to ensure software quality across desktop, web, API, database, and mobile platforms.

The role requires expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD implementation, API testing, database validation, and modern QA methodologies.

Candidates should possess leadership abilities and be capable of mentoring junior QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate end-to-end functional scenarios across desktop and web applications
• Design comprehensive test strategies covering:
  • UI
  • API
  • Database
  • Integration
  • Mobile layers
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright
• Implement automation with:
  • Fixtures
  • Tagging
  • Parallel execution
  • Reporting
• Execute headless automation in CI/CD environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Validate REST APIs including authentication and schema validation
• Contribute to API automation using Playwright and Rest Assured
• Perform UI automation using Selenium with Java for legacy systems
• Support mobile automation initiatives using Appium
• Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams
• Mentor junior QA engineers and maintain release quality

Essential Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• 7–8 years of experience in QA or Test Engineering
• Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies
• Strong database testing experience with SQL knowledge
• Strong API testing knowledge including:
  • REST services
  • Authentication flows
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory)
• Experience with:
  • Playwright test runner
  • Fixtures
  • Parallel execution
• Experience integrating automation frameworks with:
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub pipelines
• Experience implementing headless automation in CI/CD environments
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within teams

Preferred Skills

• Selenium and Java automation experience
• Rest Assured for API automation
• Appium for mobile automation
• Experience working with enterprise business systems
• Experience in desktop-to-web migration projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
