Job Description

The Wharf Clerk will handle shipping documentation and coordinate logistics operations to ensure smooth cargo handling and timely delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify shipping documents (Bills of Lading, invoices, customs documents)
• Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and customs officials
• Monitor and record incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
• Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics teams
• Resolve issues related to shipment delays or discrepancies

Candidate Requirements

• Passed G.C.E A/L
• Experience as a Wharf Clerk or similar logistics role
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and logistics software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
