Job Description

The Student Counsellor will be responsible for advising and supporting students throughout their academic journey. The role includes handling student inquiries, assisting with admissions, and maintaining communication through multiple platforms including social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and guidance to prospective and current students
• Handle student inquiries related to courses, admissions, and programs
• Support enrollment and admission processes
• Communicate with students via phone, email, and social media platforms
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications
• Assist in achieving institutional enrollment targets
• Work collaboratively with the academic and administrative teams

Requirements

• Educational qualifications in administration, counselling, sales, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant role
• Age below 30 years at the time of application
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication
• Proficiency in Sinhala, Tamil, and English will be an added advantage
