Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) or a relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience relevant to the ISO 15189:2022 standard.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an executive or managerial position.
- An MBA or MSc will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal audits and follow up on audit findings.
- Handle customer complaints, investigations, and feedback.
- Manage non-conformities, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and risk management activities.
- Oversee Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assessment (EQA) programmes.
- Maintain document control systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality records.
- Organise management review meetings and prepare quality reports.
- Guide and coordinate the main laboratory and external laboratories.
- Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 15189:2022 requirements.
- Monitor laboratory quality performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of laboratory quality management systems.
- Understanding of ISO 15189:2022 requirements and laboratory accreditation practices.
- Experience in internal auditing, risk management, and CAPA implementation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate teams and manage quality-related activities effectively.
