We Are Hiring! Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a Trainee Engineer (Mechanical / Marine).

Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd is Sri Lanka’s leader in Industrial Refrigeration solutions. We are looking for a dedicated person with the under-mentioned qualifications to fill the following vacancy.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Production Support: Assisting senior engineers in the Truck Body Manufacturing facility.

• Site Work: Supporting mechanical and marine engineering-related site work and technical operations.

• Maintenance: Assisting in troubleshooting, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Documentation: Preparing basic technical reports and documentation as required.

• Coordination: Coordinating with internal teams and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.

• Safety: Following safety standards and company procedures at all times.

• Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education:

  • G.C.E. (O/L) and (A/L) qualification.

  • Diploma or NVQ in Mechanical / Marine Engineering or currently following a related engineering qualification.

• Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.

  • Refrigeration knowledge will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings.

• Soft Skills:

  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Knowledge of Sinhala / Tamil will be an advantage.

  • Willingness to learn, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Good attitude with strong commitment and discipline.

• Experience: Previous training or exposure in a related field will be an added advantage but is not essential.

Remuneration

• Salary: Negotiable (based on qualifications and training level).
