Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is seeking energetic and self-motivated individuals for the position of Teller Officer to join its branch network in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing: Handle cash receipts, payments, and various types of fund transfers.

• Customer Service: Provide efficient and professional service to customers at the counter.

• Compliance: Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with the bank’s internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and assist in the balancing of cash.

Requirements

• Education:

  • Successful completion of the G.C.E. (A/L) examination with a minimum of three (03) passes.

  • Passing the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with Credit passes for Mathematics and English.

• Professional Qualifications: Pursuing professional qualifications in Banking (IBSL) or a related field will be an added advantage.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the banking or financial sector is preferred.

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
