Technical Officer – University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka

The University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, is inviting applications for the post of Technical Officer (Grade II) Seg “A”.

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

A National Diploma in Technology or an equivalent qualification.
A Higher National Diploma in Engineering.
A Higher National Diploma in a relevant field.
A Diploma in a relevant field of at least two years’ full-time duration from a recognized institute, plus one (01) year of experience in the relevant field.

Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years of age.
Salary Scale: U-MT 1 (II) – Rs. 43,875 – 7 x 670 – 48,565 p.m. (paid according to Management Services Circular 01/2025 and Commission Circular No. 02/2025).
Method of Selection: By a Practical Test and Interview.
Preferred Experience: Preference will be given to those with sound knowledge and experience in areas such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Web Development, Biotechnology, Chemistry/Microbiology, Audio Visual, Mechanical, and Electronics & Telecommunication.
General Eligibility: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka, physically and mentally fit, and of good character.

Deadline: Both the online and hard copy applications must be submitted on or before 20th March 2026.
