Paranthan Chemicals Company Limited, operating under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Officer (JM 1-1). This is a pivotal role focused on quality assurance, product innovation, and environmental safety within a leading chemical manufacturing environment.

Job Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Technical Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our chemical products and operational safety. Your core duties will include:

• Quality Management: Implementing quality improvements and ensuring strict quality assurance of all products.

• R&D Support: Performing trials to introduce and integrate new products into the company portfolio.

• Safety & Environment: Leading the improvement of safety protocols and environmental practices to ensure sustainable operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

For External Candidates:

• A B.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering OR a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

For Internal Candidates:

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Possess the qualifications required for external candidates listed above.

2. Completion of a minimum of five (05) years of satisfactory service in a post of ‘Management Assistant Technological’ (MA 2-2) Grade II, in a subject area relevant to the post.

Age Limit:

• Candidates must be between 22 and 45 years of age. (Note: The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates).

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will be placed on the JM 1-1 Salary Scale:

• Scale: $Rs. 72,650 – 1,360 \times 10, 2,040 \times 18 – Rs. 122,970/-$

• Monthly Salary: Paid as per the provisions of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.

• Provident Fund: The company contributes 15% of the salary to the EPF.

• Trust Fund: The company contributes 3% to the ETF.
