Key Responsibilities

• Provide tax planning and advisory services.
• Prepare tax returns and tax computations.
• Handle various tax advisory matters.
• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department on tax-related matters, including audits and investigations.
• Ensure timely tax compliance and submission of returns and statutory documentation.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and interpret their impact on clients.
• Support the Tax Manager as and when required.
• Assist with tax-related reviews, compliance activities, and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / ACCA / CIMA – Partly or Fully Qualified.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in taxation is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws, regulations, and practices.
• Practical understanding of tax planning and compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong tax planning and compliance skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS applications.
• Ability to interpret tax regulations and assess their impact on clients.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and handle multiple tax-related tasks.
