Job Overview

The Industrial Development Board (IDB) is looking for an experienced, result-oriented, and dynamic System Administrator to join its IT department on a contract basis. The role is vital for ensuring the optimal performance and security of the organization’s technological infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.

• Apply necessary security patches and support staff with login, access, and software issues.

• Manage resource utilization and access rights to maintain compliance.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, licenses, and maintenance records.

• Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and IT asset status.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualification criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a University recognized by the U.G.C.

• Experience: Minimum of 03 years of post-qualifying experience in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

• Citizenship: Applications are invited from Sri Lankan Citizens.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: Negotiable.

• EPF/ETF: Entitled to an EPF contribution (10% by the employee, 12% by the Board) and a 3% ETF contribution by the Board.
