About the Role: Store Keeper
The Store Keeper plays a vital role in the supply chain of our service and workshop departments. You will be the guardian of our inventory, ensuring that spare parts, accessories, and materials are stored correctly, recorded accurately, and issued efficiently. This role requires a blend of administrative precision and physical activity, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment rather than a static desk job.
You will be based at our head office area in Colombo 04, working closely with logistics and technical teams to ensure that our service operations never face delays due to stock issues.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily duties will involve the end-to-end management of store operations:

Operational Management: You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the stores, ensuring workflows are efficient and orderly.

Receiving & Inspection: You are responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming materials, spare parts, and accessories to ensure quality and quantity match orders.

Storage & Organization: Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all items. A well-organized store is essential for maintaining accuracy and quick accessibility.

Issuing Stock: You will issue spare parts and materials to service and workshop teams against approved requests, ensuring that the right parts reach the right technicians on time.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock ledgers, and reconcile any discrepancies immediately to ensure data integrity.

Audits & Reporting: Support periodic stock counts, audits, and reporting activities to give management a clear view of inventory health.

Inventory Monitoring: Actively monitor stock levels and inform the Store Manager of re-order requirements to prevent stockouts.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the store area at all times.

General Duties: Perform any other store-related duties as assigned by management to support the broader goals of the department.
Candidate Profile: Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting and be comfortable using computer systems for inventory management.
Essential Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in storekeeping or warehouse management is required. Experience in the electronics or home appliance sector is considered a significant advantage.

Education: Candidates must have successfully completed the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) or Ordinary Level (O/L) with a Credit pass in Mathematics.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer operations is a must. Experience with ERP or inventory management software is highly preferred.

Accuracy: You must demonstrate a high level of accuracy in counting and record-keeping.

Physical Capability: The ability to handle the physical demands of a warehouse environment, including moving and organizing boxed goods, is essential.

Character: We are looking for a strong character with a proven track record of honesty and reliability in handling high-value inventory.

Language Skills: A good command of Sinhala is required. Proficiency in English and Tamil will be added advantages for coordinating with our diverse logistics teams.
