Job Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for receiving and verifying materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation, supporting stock verification and audits, and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in:
- Stores
- Warehousing
- Inventory Management
- A certification or training programme in Store Management or Store Keeping is preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and handle warehouse documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and other relevant documents.
- Accurately record all goods received, issued, and transferred in the ERP system.
- Store materials in designated locations with proper identification, labelling, and safe storage.
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving items to the supervisor.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable to ensure proper stock rotation.
- Prevent material expiry and deterioration through proper stock management.
- Maintain good housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Ensure materials are handled and stored according to company procedures and relevant quality requirements.
- Assist with monthly stock counts and annual stock verification.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, quality assurance, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
