Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications in Internal Auditing or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in inventory auditing, warehouse auditing, or inventory control.
• Previous audit experience will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel outside Colombo, including Jaffna.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inventory audits at factories and warehouses.
• Perform physical stock counts of raw materials, finished goods, work-in-progress (WIP), accessories, and spare parts.
• Reconcile physical stock with inventory management records.
• Verify the accuracy of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material issues, transfers, returns, and stock adjustments.
• Monitor inventory transactions to prevent unauthorized stock movements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
