Job Description

The Senior Executive – Tax will be responsible for managing tax compliance, reporting, and advisory functions while ensuring adherence to Sri Lankan tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements (VAT, TDL, WHT, SSCL, Income Tax)
• Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and supporting schedules
• Liaise with Inland Revenue Department and manage tax audits & assessments
• Monitor tax law changes and assess business impact
• Perform reconciliations of tax-related General Ledger accounts
• Support internal and external audits on tax matters
• Maintain proper documentation of tax filings and transactions
• Act as an advisor to internal stakeholders on tax compliance

Requirements / Qualifications

• Part or fully qualified in CA / Taxation or relevant professional qualification 🎓
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in taxation with knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel (SAP knowledge is an added advantage)
