Job Description

Central Bearings & Machinery (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a dynamic Sales Coordinator to strengthen its operations between overseas suppliers and local clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the full order-to-delivery cycle, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase orders and shipping schedules with overseas suppliers and local customers
• Prepare quotations, pro-forma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, and import/export documentation
• Monitor shipment progress and liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents
• Maintain accurate order histories using Excel/ERP systems for reporting and analysis
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries via email and phone
• Compile periodic sales and logistics reports for management decision-making
• Ensure timely delivery and clear communication across all stakeholders

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales coordination, import/export, supply chain, or related field
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (ERP system experience is an advantage)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Willingness to work extended hours when required

Added Advantage

• Experience in international trade, Incoterms 2020, or logistics coordination
• Residence in Seeduwa, Ja-Ela, Negombo, Minuwangoda, or Raddolugama areas
