Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Applied Banking and Finance (DABF), Higher Diploma in Banking and Finance (HDBF) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL), or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
• Professional qualifications in Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in front-line customer service within the banking sector.
• Proven relationship management experience with ultra-high-net-worth or priority banking customers.
• Strong knowledge of banking products including deposits, retail lending, investment solutions, and treasury products.
• Ability to work independently while achieving business targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Multilingual communication skills will be an added advantage.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering premium banking services.

Key Responsibilities

• Canvass new business opportunities and grow the portfolio across assets, liabilities, and foreign exchange (FX) income.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 to 125 customer relationships while ensuring sustainable portfolio growth.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ financial objectives, investment goals, and risk appetite.
• Deliver tailored wealth management and financial planning solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Maintain high operational standards by ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure full compliance with KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) procedures.
• Monitor external market developments to identify opportunities for business growth and cross-selling.
• Strengthen long-term customer relationships by providing proactive financial advice and exceptional service.
