Job Overview

The Colombo South Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society is seeking a qualified and experienced Regional Manager to oversee operations within the Western Province. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise, leadership, and a commitment to cooperative values.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise regional operations and staff to ensure efficiency and service quality.

• Implement cooperative policies and manage departmental workflows.

• Liaise with the Chairman and Board of Directors on regional performance.

• Ensure financial and operational targets are met within the assigned region.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification criteria:

• Option 1: Have at least 02 years of permanent service in a 104:9 salary scale position within the Cooperative service, OR 03 years of permanent service in a 105:10 salary scale position.

• Option 2: Possess a Degree from a recognized university with Mathematics and Sinhala as subjects.

• Option 3: Successfully completed the Banking and Finance course from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) with at least 02 years of relevant experience in the banking/finance sector.

General Criteria:

• Age: Between 21 and 45 years.

• Residency: Must have been a permanent resident of the Western Province for at least 03 years.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Scale: 15,724 – 25,524/- (Grade 104:8 III)

• Allowances: * 15% Cost of Living allowance.

  • Specific monthly allowances ranging from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 10,000 based on government and society circulars.
