Job Description 

We’re Hiring! CBC Finance PLC is looking for Regional Credit Analysts.

CBC Finance PLC, a fully owned subsidiary of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Regional Credit Analysts (Assistant Manager – Credit). We have 4 vacancies available for the Northern, North Central, Central & Southern Regions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Authorization: Review and authorize credit proposals within the stipulated Delegated Authority (DA) limits while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal credit policies.

• Assessment: Assess, analyze, and recommend credit proposals to the higher levels of DA hierarchy.

• Compliance: Conduct post-credit reviews to ensure portfolio quality and compliance with approved terms and conditions.

• Quality Control: Oversee and maintain overall credit quality of the assigned region, ensuring alignment with the Company’s risk appetite.

• Risk Mitigation: Periodically review the regional credit portfolio to identify early warning signals and communicate to the management for proactive risk mitigation and corrective actions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the branch network and head office teams to ensure effective credit risk management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Credit Management or a related professional qualification.

• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience in credit management in the Finance industry.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills with sound knowledge of credit assessments.

• Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.

• Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and regions.

• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating accountability and professional judgment.

• Ethics: High level of integrity and ethics with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
