The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), widely known as Lake House, is seeking a talented and dynamic individual for the position of Production Planning Executive.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following basic educational criteria:

• A Diploma in Printing from a recognized institution with one year of experience in the relevant field.

• NVQ Level 4 qualification.

• Passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination with three years of experience in the relevant field.

Additional Skills:

• Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• Ability to work in both English and Sinhala languages.

• Willingness to work long hours or on a shift basis.

• Note: Priority will be given to applicants residing within 30km of the Colombo area.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly and weekly production plans and sharing them with stakeholders.

• Coordinating the completion of pages with Advertising, Editorial, Technical, and Printing departments.

• Converting InDesign files to PDF format for technical error checking and submitting PDF pages for Computer to Plate (CTP).

• Conducting on-time quality checks and archiving digital ads and editorial pages.

• Coordinating the smooth running of the pre-press process.
