Organization Overview
New Universe Corporate Clothing H (Pvt) Ltd is a Sri Lankan apparel manufacturer with its main manufacturing facility in Hettipola and branches across the island. Guided by its motto “Stitching Better Futures”, the company produces corporate clothing and continues to expand its workforce.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualifications and experience for the position applied for
- Previous experience in the apparel or garment manufacturing industry is preferred
- For technical roles (Electrician, Mechanic, Technician, Chief Mechanic), relevant trade qualifications and industrial machine experience
- For quality and safety roles, knowledge of apparel quality and product safety standards
Key Responsibilities
- Product Safety Officer: monitor and ensure product safety standards in the apparel manufacturing process at the Bakamuna branch
- Quality roles: inspect, audit and maintain garment quality standards
- Production roles: plan and supervise production to meet output and quality targets
- Technical roles: maintain and repair sewing machines, electrical systems and factory equipment
- HR and admin roles: manage HR, administration and stores functions at the assigned location
