The successful candidate will promote analytical and laboratory instruments while building strong relationships with research institutions, universities, laboratories, and industrial clients across Sri Lanka.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry, Graduate of Agriculture, or a qualification from the Institute of Chemistry.
• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales will be preferred.
• Alternatively, G.C.E. Advanced Level qualified candidates with Chemistry as a subject and 4 years of experience in the sales of analytical or laboratory instruments may also apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel to research institutes, universities, laboratories, and customer locations.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
• Suitable fresh graduates may be considered for a Trainee Executive position.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and develop sales of chemical, analytical, and laboratory instruments.
• Secure customer orders while achieving sales targets and gross profit margins.
• Visit universities, research institutes, testing laboratories, and industrial customers to identify business opportunities.
• Recommend suitable laboratory and analytical instrument solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
• Conduct promotional activities to increase market penetration.
• Maintain sales records, customer databases, and follow up on client requirements.
• Provide technical support and product information to customers when required.
