Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Physiotherapist to join the Men’s Pathway Performance Program. This is a prestigious opportunity to manage injury prevention, rehabilitation, and medical support for elite cricketers in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities
As the Physiotherapist for the Men’s Teams, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of physiotherapy services. Your primary duties include:
Injury Management: Providing high-level physiotherapy and injury reduction strategies for players in the Male Pathway Performance Program.
Collaborative Care: Working with trainers, the HPC Lead Physiotherapist, and the sports science department to implement individualized gym, conditioning, and recovery protocols.
Performance Monitoring: Conducting musculoskeletal screenings and managing player workloads to ensure peak performance.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintaining regular updates with management, selectors, coaches, and support staff regarding player health status.
Record Keeping: Ensuring meticulous documentation of physiotherapy notes, objective data, and rehabilitation progress.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
Educational Background: A BSc in Physiotherapy or higher qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Sri Lanka, OR a Higher National Diploma (HND) from the School of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Sri Lanka.
Professional Registration: Must be a Registered Physiotherapist with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
Sports Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports physiotherapy/rehabilitation within an elite sporting environment (experience in cricket is highly preferred).
Key Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, organizational planning, and the ability to influence and lead within a team environment.
