Job Profile & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality specimen collection and patient care. Key duties include:

• Specimen Collection: Expertly collecting blood and other clinical specimens (including throat swabs for COVID-19 and other diagnostics) using standardized technical methods.

• Data Management: Accurately labeling specimens for identification and entering specimen data into the hospital information system.

• Patient Care: Greeting patients and guiding them through the proper specimen collection methods and necessary preparations.

• Operational Excellence: Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the laboratory environment.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Education: Successful completion of G.C.E. O/L and a 01-year Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institute.

• Experience: * Phlebotomist: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Senior Phlebotomist: 4+ years of proven experience in phlebotomy.

• Skills: Strong technical proficiency in drawing blood, attention to detail in labeling, and a patient-centric “team player” attitude.
