Job Description

Personal Assistant to Chairman – Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation

Applications are called from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to fill the vacancy of Personal Assistant to Chairman at the Sri Lanka State Plantations Corporation.

Qualifications for External Candidates:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Business Studies / Business Management / Management / Commerce / Public Management, or any other degree subject relevant to the post recognized by the U.G.C.

• Must also possess a postgraduate diploma in the relevant field.

Age Limit:

• Applicants should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years of age. (Note: The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates).

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Scale: MA 5-2 – 2025 – Grade II: Rs. 62,310 – 10 x 1,360 – 15 x 1,670 – 5 x 2,040 = Rs. 111,160/- per month.

• Basic Salary Step: Rs. 56,899/- (As per Schedule ii of Management Services Circular No.01/2025).

• Approved Government Allowances will be paid in addition to the salary.

• Extra Benefits: Facilities under the Indoor and Outdoor Medical Insurance Scheme.

• Provident Funds: The employee will contribute 10% to the Ceylon Planters’ Provident Society or any Provident Fund, while the SLSPC will contribute a maximum of 12% to the EPF and 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund.
