Educational Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Passed three subjects at one sitting in the Biology or Physical Science stream at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination
• Passed the English subject in the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.

Experience

Candidates should possess:

• Minimum 03 years of experience as a Nurse in a Government or recognized private institution.

Other Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Valid registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) or
• Registration with the Private Healthcare Service Regulatory Council (PHSRC) as a Nurse
• Registration with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC) as a registered Nurse.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Code: 8:3 (NT3)
• Basic Salary Step: Rs. 44,295/-
• Annual Salary Increment: Rs. 795/-
• Approximate Monthly Gross Salary: Rs. 119,000/-

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age
• This age limit does not apply to applicants from the public service according to Public Administration Circular No.299 dated 23.07.1985.

Selection Method

Each applicant should pass:

• Structured practical tests
• Interview relevant to the post.

General Requirements

Every applicant must:

• Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Possess physical and mental fitness required for the post
• Have excellent character
• Pass a medical examination if required
• Be entitled to EPF and ETF benefits as this is a permanent post.
