Job Profile

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and organizing work in a clinical laboratory
• Managing automated laboratory machines and equipment
• Performing clinical validation and checking abnormal results identified by automated analyzers
• Deciding whether further laboratory tests are necessary
• Identifying causes of poor analytical performance and resolving technical issues
• Providing accurate information to customer requirements
• Attending to laboratory PR operations and customer needs
• Handling complaints and inquiries from consultants, general practitioners, and patients

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess:

• B.Sc. Degree in Biological Science with Biochemistry as a subject from a recognized university
  OR
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution
• 2–3 years of experience as a Trainee MLT or Medical Laboratory Technician in a reputed laboratory
• SLMC registration will be considered an added advantage
