Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)

• Proven track record in modern trade sales management, ideally within FMCG or retail

• Ability to travel to any part of Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve volume/revenue targets and market share growth in the modern trade channel

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores, to drive product visibility and availability

• Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and agreements that align with company objectives

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and activities tailored to the modern trade channel

• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization

• Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to stay ahead of industry trends and developments

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and key account activities

• Manage a team of sales representatives and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and initiatives
