Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all actuarial functions, including:
  • Statutory valuations
  • Regulatory reporting
  • Experience investigations
  • Product pricing
  • Management reporting
• Drive continuous improvement of actuarial systems and processes to ensure accurate valuations, financial projections, and business planning.
• Spearhead actuarial involvement in product development, data analytics, and management information initiatives.
• Support the development and execution of business plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Lead and coordinate IFRS 17-related activities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, mentor, and strengthen the actuarial team through training, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Fully or partially qualified actuarial professional from a recognized actuarial institute such as:
  • IFoA
  • SOA
  • CAS
  • Or an equivalent professional body
• Minimum 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
