This role involves providing administrative support, records management, office coordination, and assisting in day-to-day operational activities of the Commission to ensure smooth functioning of institutional processes.

The Right to Information Commission (RTI Commission) is an independent statutory body established under the Right to Information Act No. 12 of 2016. The Commission promotes transparency, accountability, and public access to information by implementing RTI regulations across all public institutions in Sri Lanka.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with at least 6 subjects including Credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and English
- AND passed G.C.E. (A/L) in at least 3 subjects (excluding General Paper)
- AND a Certificate in Computer Applications (minimum 06 months) from a recognized institute
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 45 years
- Age limit not applicable for internal applicants
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Commission
- Maintain files, records, and documentation systems
- Assist in preparing reports, letters, and official correspondence
- Support office coordination and communication activities
- Handle data entry and basic information management tasks
- Assist in scheduling meetings and maintaining office records
- Support operational activities of various departments within the Commission
Required Skills
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office applications)
- Ability to manage records and documentation efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in clerical work
- Ability to work in a structured government environment
- Teamwork and time management skills
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Scale: MA 1-2 – 2025 (Rs. 46,220 – 84,350)
