Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Insurance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Underwriting or insurance operations will be an added advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite insurance proposals according to company guidelines.
• Prepare accurate quotations within agreed service timelines.
• Support the achievement of Gross Written Premium (GWP) targets while maintaining acceptable loss ratios.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance brokers.
• Ensure accurate documentation, record keeping, and compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth underwriting operations.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining underwriting standards.
