Qualifications & Experience

• Citizen of Sri Lanka
• A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably LLB) from a UGC-recognized university
• Membership of professional bodies such as Chartered Secretaries, ICASL, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Prior exposure to corporate governance, legal, or board secretariat functions will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge in corporate governance practices

Age Limit

• Below 32 years (Age limit not applicable for internal candidates)

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate Board of Directors and Subcommittee meetings
• Prepare agendas, circulate board papers, and manage documentation
• Record and maintain accurate minutes of meetings
• Monitor implementation of Board decisions
• Assist in preparation of annual reports and governance documents
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for board-related matters
• Support the Board Secretariat in all administrative and legal functions

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Good legal or administrative knowledge (advantage for LLB holders)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Computer literacy and documentation proficiency

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Gross Salary: Approximately Rs. 247,619
• Salary Scale: Rs. 113,040 – 150,640 (approx.)
