Company Overview

The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development has commenced the implementation of the Trade National Single Window System Project as a national priority initiative to facilitate international trade flows in Sri Lanka. The project aims to integrate regulatory agencies into a single interconnected platform, enabling traders involved in imports, exports, and transshipments to submit all required documents through one digital entry point.

The project is expected to strengthen digital trade operations, streamline processes, and improve efficiency within Sri Lanka’s border trade ecosystem.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
• Equivalent qualifications recognized by the UGC will also be considered
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Minimum 09 years of experience related to large-scale ICT systems
• At least 04 years of managerial-level experience in ICT projects or systems management
• Age should be less than 55 years as of 24.05.2026

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and management of the Trade National Single Window System
• Coordinate ICT system development and integration activities
• Ensure efficient operation of large-scale digital trade systems
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and technical stakeholders
• Monitor system performance, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Assist in managing digital platform integration for trade facilitation
• Support project implementation and ICT governance activities
• Contribute to technology planning and system improvement initiatives

Required Skills

• Expertise in large-scale ICT systems implementation
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of software systems integration and digital platforms
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Experience working with government or enterprise ICT systems
• Technical documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a high-responsibility project environment
