Job Overview

As an Investigation Officer, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into assigned cases, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as regional offices, police, courts, and local government authorities, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations into specific cases and assignments
  • Liaise with internal teams and external authorities including police, courts, and regional offices
  • Collect, analyze, and document investigation findings
  • Prepare accurate and professional investigation reports
  • Ensure investigations are carried out in line with organizational policies and legal requirements
  • Meet assigned deadlines with precision and confidentiality

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 03 years of work experience in Investigations, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Finance
    (Experience in audit firms will be an added advantage)

OR

  • A Degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Criminology, or Management
    OR being partly qualified in professional bodies such as CIA, CASL, CIMA, or ACCA

AND

  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with police, courts, regional offices, and other authorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Word and Excel
  • Strong formal writing and communication skills in Sinhala and English
    (Ability to communicate in Tamil will be an added advantage)
  • Ability to work punctually, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy

Age Requirement

  • Applicants must be 25 years or older
