Job Description

The Public Service Cooperative Credit and Savings Society Ltd. is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Internal Auditor III on a permanent basis.

Basic Qualifications for Recruitment

Applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements:

• Option 1: A Degree in Commerce, Management, or Accounting from a recognized University with 03 years of experience in an executive-level position in the accounting/auditing field in a recognized institution.

• Option 2: A 04-year Diploma in Accountancy/Commerce from a Sri Lanka Technical College or Higher Technological Education Institution with 03 years of experience in an executive-level position in the field of Accountancy/Auditing in a recognized institution.

• Option 3: Having passed the second stage of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka with 03 years of experience in an executive-level position in the accounting/auditing field in a recognized institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: Rs. 50,600 – 900 x 10.

• Allowances: A cost of living allowance of Rs. 17,800/- and other allowances approved by the Cooperative Employees Commission are also entitled.

General Conditions

• Experience & Skills: Experience in the field of auditing, computer skills, and knowledge of the English language will be considered special qualifications.

• Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years (the upper age limit will not apply to those currently employed in cooperative service).

• Probation: The appointment is subject to a probationary period of three (03) years after being recruited.

• Residence Preference: Preference will be given to qualified applicants who have been permanently residing within the Western Province for more than 05 years.

• Internal Applicants: Those employed in registered cooperative societies/associations should submit their applications through their respective Heads of Institutions.
