Internal Audit Officer – Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau

The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) is seeking applications for the position of Internal Audit Officer (Junior Manager).

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates can apply under either the External or Internal category:

External Candidates

• Education: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the U.G.C. in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Management Accountancy.

• Alternative: Applicants who have passed the intermediate examination of a recognized professional chartered institute in a relevant subject area are also eligible.

Internal Candidates

• Applicants must meet the qualifications for external candidates listed above.

• OR Completion of a minimum of five (05) years of satisfactory service in a “Management Assistant – Non Technological” (MA 1) Grade II post in a relevant subject area.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Scale (JM 1-2 2025): Rs. 74,010 – 10 x 1,360 – 18 x 2,040 = Rs. 124,330.

• Current Monthly Pay: Rs. 66,781 plus Cost of Living, Transport allowance, and Communication allowance.

• Retirement Benefits: EPF contribution of 15% and ETF contribution of 3% of basic salary.

• Age Limit: Between 22 and 45 years (upper age limit is not applicable to internal candidates).

• Required Documents: A CV, two non-related referees, and copies of your Birth Certificate, National Identity Card, Education Certificates, and Service Certificates.
