Job Description
Human Resources Manager – Cooplife Insurance Limited
Cooplife Insurance Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage the full spectrum of human resource functions within their organization. The ideal candidate will support business objectives by developing and implementing effective HR strategies, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with labour laws and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:

HR Strategy & Policy: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives.

Recruitment: Managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.

Operations: Overseeing payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and employee records.

Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labour laws, insurance regulatory requirements, good governance, and company policies.

Employee Relations: Handling employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and grievance management.

Performance Management: Coordinating performance appraisal processes, promotion, and increment recommendations.

Training: Identifying training and development needs and coordinating relevant programs.

Advisory: Advising management on HR best practices and workforce planning.

Reporting: Maintaining HR documentation and preparing HR reports for management review.

Engagement: Supporting employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive work culture.

Committees: Conducting timely HR Committees with relevant proposals and plans.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Qualification: A professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPM, PQHRM, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR, preferably with experience in the insurance or financial services sector.

Experience handling end-to-end HR operations independently.

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.

Skills:
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.

Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS / payroll systems.
