About the Role: Head of Information Technology

As the Head of IT, you will lead the Information Technology function of our organization, acting as the primary architect of our digital future. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation strategy, ensuring robust IT governance, and delivering innovative technology solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.

You will not just be managing systems; you will be collaborating with business units to identify technology opportunities that support product innovation and enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Your mandate will cover the full spectrum of IT leadership, from strategic planning to operational execution:

• Strategic Leadership: You will develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that is strictly aligned with the company’s broader business objectives, ensuring technology acts as an enabler for growth.

• Operational Oversight: Oversee all IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system development efforts. Your goal is to ensure maximum reliability, security, and scalability of our critical business systems.

• Digital Transformation: Lead high-impact digital transformation initiatives designed to enhance customer experience (CX) and drive process efficiency across the organization.

• Financial Management: Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments effectively to ensure optimal ROI on all technical assets.

• Governance & Security: Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and information security standards, safeguarding the company’s data assets.

• Team Leadership: You will build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Business Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various business units to bridge the gap between technical potential and business needs, identifying opportunities for product innovation.

Candidate Profile: Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who can navigate the complexities of the financial services technology landscape.

Educational Qualifications:

• A professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Experience & Expertise:

• Tenure: A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT is mandatory.

• Leadership: Out of your total experience, at least 5 years must be in a senior leadership role.

• Industry Focus: Ideally, your leadership experience should be within the insurance or financial services industry.

• Technical Mastery: You must have proven experience in IT strategy, system integration, and driving digital transformation projects.
