Finance Officer (Junior Manager) – Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau

The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Finance Officer (Junior Manager).

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants may qualify through either External or Internal categories:

External Candidates

• Education: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the U.G.C. in a relevant field, including Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or Management Accountancy.

• Alternative Qualification: Having passed the intermediate examination of a recognized professional chartered institute in a subject area relevant to the post.

Internal Candidates

• Must have obtained the qualifications required for external candidates listed above.

• OR Completion of a minimum of five (05) years of satisfactory service in a post of ‘Management Assistant – Non Technological’ (MA 1) Grade II, in a subject area relevant to the post.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Scale (JM 1-2 2025): Rs. 74,010 – 10 x 1,360 – 18 x 2,040 = Rs. 124,330.

• Monthly Payment: Rs. 66,781 plus Cost of Living, Transport allowance, and Communication allowance.

• Additional Benefits:

  • EPF contribution: 15% of salary.

  • ETF contribution: 3% of basic salary.

• Age Limit: Between 22 and 45 years (upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates).
