Job Summary

The Manager – Finance will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX governance, reporting, treasury, taxation, and audit functions. The role requires close collaboration with business units to provide financial insights, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with LKAS, SLFRS, and group reporting requirements.
• Manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely completion and implementation of audit recommendations.
• Oversee tax compliance, reporting, and coordination with regulatory authorities and external advisors.
• Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
• Drive CAPEX planning, evaluation, monitoring, and governance.
• Partner with senior management and business units to monitor business performance and identify financial risks.
• Deliver financial analysis, variance reporting, and strategic decision support.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial discipline.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives and continuous process improvements across finance operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or CIMA is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of LKAS, SLFRS, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience in external and internal audits, taxation, and treasury management.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial finance role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
