Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget and monthly accounts with variance analysis reports
• Ensure timely month-end closure and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and submit Annual Financial Statements on time
• Coordinate with external auditors to finalize audited accounts
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable operations
• Monitor and optimize investment portfolio income
• Ensure timely statutory payments and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual returns
• Review and improve financial policies and operational processes
• Coordinate with internal auditors and support audit planning activities
• Assist in the Annual Report preparation process
• Manage team performance and staff development initiatives
• Perform additional duties assigned by management when required

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates applying for the Finance Manager vacancy should possess:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized university or institute
• Membership of CA Sri Lanka
• Membership of AAT Sri Lanka will be considered an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Overall minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounting will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems, and accounting software packages
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• Fluency in English
• Age below 40 years
