The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) is currently inviting applications for the position of Executives. This role is aimed at self-motivated team players with strong interpersonal skills and high ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a wide range of fields including Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Statistics, IT, Law, Mathematics, or other relevant sector-specific areas.

• Be an Attorney-at-Law, preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Hold a professional qualification from a recognized body.

Additional Requirements

• Education: A Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree with a class is considered a definite advantage.

• Experience: Prior exposure to capital markets or a regulatory environment is a significant advantage.

• Age: Candidates must be less than 27 years old.

• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, research background, proficiency in IT, and excellent communication skills in English (Sinhala/Tamil is also valued).
