Its Research & Development department plays a key role in driving product innovation and continuous process improvement across manufacturing operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- BSc (Hons) Degree. A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or Research & Development is highly desirable.
- Physically fit to perform operational responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out process development and process improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
- Manage customized product fabrication projects from sample development to manufacturing process finalization.
- Introduce new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve operational capabilities.
- Develop manufacturing and product packaging guidelines.
- Identify and implement Kaizen initiatives to reduce production breakdowns and improve efficiency.
- Provide secondary packing support and process improvement solutions.
- Introduce new machining techniques and improve existing products.
- Guide and supervise operation technicians assigned to the department.
- Coordinate with production, quality, marketing, and other departments during product development projects.
