Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Diploma in Supplies & Materials Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- Possess 1–2 years of working experience in a SAP-based manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Good understanding of Inventory Control and Stores Management, preferably in the consumer foods industry.
- Knowledge of manufacturing consumer food products, food technology, material management, and stock maintenance.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and ensure material requisitions are generated in the system when required.
- Liaise with suppliers and management regarding stock availability, overstock, and stock-out situations while preparing monthly material availability reports.
- Perform stock control activities, including goods receipt, goods issue, and stock verification.
- Handle administrative responsibilities such as overtime calculations, staff monitoring, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately.
- Monitor and maintain 5S standards within stores and ensure systematic storage of goods.
- Facilitate timely information for audits and maintain proper hygiene standards within stores.
- Visit outsourced stores regularly to ensure compliance with agreed operational standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure received products meet quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with QMS, FSMS, EMS, and OHSMS ISO requirements in the assigned areas.
