Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Diploma in Supplies & Materials Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
• Possess 1–2 years of working experience in a SAP-based manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Good understanding of Inventory Control and Stores Management, preferably in the consumer foods industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing consumer food products, food technology, material management, and stock maintenance.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and ensure material requisitions are generated in the system when required.
• Liaise with suppliers and management regarding stock availability, overstock, and stock-out situations while preparing monthly material availability reports.
• Perform stock control activities, including goods receipt, goods issue, and stock verification.
• Handle administrative responsibilities such as overtime calculations, staff monitoring, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately.
• Monitor and maintain 5S standards within stores and ensure systematic storage of goods.
• Facilitate timely information for audits and maintain proper hygiene standards within stores.
• Visit outsourced stores regularly to ensure compliance with agreed operational standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure received products meet quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with QMS, FSMS, EMS, and OHSMS ISO requirements in the assigned areas.
