Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Diploma in Personnel Management is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Good understanding of FMCG industry manpower operations.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Law, Industrial Relations, Labour Legislation, and industry practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee lifecycle administration, including appointment letters, confirmations, resignations, retirements, service certificates, salary documentation, and employment correspondence.
- Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR information systems.
- Coordinate annual increments, merit increments, promotions, gratuity payments, and employee transactions with the Finance Department.
- Support manpower planning and workforce deployment based on operational requirements.
- Liaise with supervisors and manpower suppliers regarding staffing, attendance verification, contract renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Verify employee attendance and facilitate monthly payroll processing.
- Administer employee welfare facilities, including the canteen, welfare shop, medical center, linen room, and holiday bungalows.
- Monitor outsourced facility contracts and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate employee welfare initiatives, uniforms, safety items, employee benefits, and welfare schemes.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, preliminary investigations, and inquiry documentation.
- Administer employee welfare programs such as PF loans, funeral aid schemes, and employee support initiatives.
- Prepare HR and workforce reports, including absenteeism and manpower reports.
- Manage company holiday bungalow reservations, payments, contract renewals, and related administrative activities.
