Join the Heart of Print Media! Lake House is looking for a talented English Typesetter.

The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL), widely known as Lake House, is the home and heart of the print media in Sri Lanka. We are currently looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Typesetter – English.

If you have a flair for design software, excellent typing speed, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to work with a historic and prestigious media organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Typesetter, you will play a crucial role in the production of our publications and advertisements.

• Ad Processing: You will be responsible for error-free advertising processing, ensuring accuracy in all published materials.

• Creative Design: You must be capable of making attractive advertisements that satisfy the requirements of both the advertiser and the newspapers.

• Work Environment: You should be able to perform given tasks efficiently in a highly work-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Candidates must have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects with 03 Credit passes, including English Language.

• Technical Skills: Competency in computer work is essential, specifically with knowledge and experience in Adobe InDesign and MS Word.

• Typing Skills: A minimum Typing Speed of 40 words per minute (English) is required.

• Flexibility: Candidates must have the ability to work extended hours as required by the nature of the media industry.
